We took advantage of some nice weather Saturday and drove over
to Quilcene Bay. The sun was to our backs so viewing was great. We counted
over 200 Greater Scaup in the bay along with a large concentration of Red-
breasted Mergansers. Also present were 3 Trumpeter Swans (1 was a juv.) a
dark morph. Red-tailed Hawk and 1 American Kestrel. It was a beautiful day in
an area that was really full of bird life.
