In Kittitas County this weekend I saw Mt. Bluebirds at Swauk Prairie, Bettas
Road and the Old Vantage Hwy. There has been a steady buildup of Red-Winged
Blackbirds, Meadowlarks, Horned larks and Robins in these areas also.

I also saw a Common(?) Loon and swallows flying out over the water near
Wanapum Dam.

The Trumpeter Swans are still up in the Waterville Plateau. Also, I had a
male White-Headed Woodpecker make a brief stop at the peanut feeder at my
cabin this weekend.
