I can confirm and add to that. Today, coming back from Ellensburg, I first
took a detour along the Vantage road, and discovered with joy that male
Mountain Bluebirds were not only decorating fenceposts, but checking out
nest boxes; Horned Larks were tinkling on the road shoulders; redtails were
on nests; and Sage Sparrows were singing on territory. Can spring be far
behind?
