At last Monday's WOS meeting the topic was crows and the focus was a
study of crows in the Edmonds/Lynnwood area. I live in Everett and this
morning a banded crow showed up in my backyard. He had lots of metal on
his legs and they looked shiny and new. They seemed new to him also as
he kept pecking at them. On the left leg was a a red and a silver band
and on the right leg a blue and silver band. I couldn't read any
numbers. The bird would not hold still or come close enough. Is the
interest in these birds limited to the area of the study or is there any
interest in where these birds go afterwards?
