Ken- Andy Stepniewski has some info. I have not seen ibis here, but
have had various reports of birds along Dodson Road north of Birder's
Corner in 1993 without documentation. A report of 12 on 4/18/94 flying
3 miles south of Othello along SR 24 was by D. Goeke while driving.
Our Columbia NWR sightings are from 1987, and at that time our report
indicated that there were only 2 other E. WA records. The first of
our sightings was 5/9/87, one in Marsh Unit 2, Grant Co. (G. Orians
and J. Shields). The remaining sightings were also there and north up
to 3 miles, all in CNWR in Grant Co. They included 7 on 5/14/87 (D.
Goeke), photos of 2 on 5/16/87 (W. Radke), and last seen were 9 on
5/19/87 (S. Rudolph).

I am attempting to compile data of White-faced Ibis sightings, by county, in Was
ngton state.
If you have any sightings that you will share, or know of someone who does, the
llowing information would be very useful to me:
(1) The number of Ibis, (2) the date(s) seen, and (3) the place seen.
Example: 1 White faced Ibis, May 26-June 3, 1951 at O'Sullivan Dam, Grant
County.
Any information will be very helpful and much appreciated.
