Spring isn't here, yet, but some of the spring birds are arriving. March
ll, s. of Brewster (Okanogan Co.) we saw lst Mt. Bluebirds and one Turkey
Vulture. Near Bridgeport (Douglas Co.) Violet-green Swallows were seen.
March l2th at Banks Lake 25 Red-breasted Mergansers were seen. Oh, at Banks
Lake some Canada Geese have been seen with white neck collars. Two could be
read: Tl4 and T53. Anyone out there banding geese? Meredith
