KINGLETS at the Yakima Delta.

On February 23, Ruth, Nancy & I (Bob Woodley) observed a PRAIRIE FALCON

along Case Road on the south slope of Rattlesnake Mountain (attracted by a
roadkill coyote), and a SAGE SPARROW along Rotha Road also on the south slope.

On February 26, Craig Corder and Judy Stevens reported a singing
ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER and a WINTER WREN in Hood Park, an AMERICAN TREE
SPARROW and 20 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE on the McNary refuge, and they

the Iowa Beef ponds.

On March 1, a LESSER GOLDFINCH appeared among the American Goldfinches at
my feeder. This bird, which is extremely rare for Benton county, has
returned on the 6th, 7th, and 8th.

Dale Litzenberger observed a flock of 20 to 30 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS in his
birdbath on March 7, while on March 6 he saw about 210 GREATER
WHITE-FRONTED GEESE fly over his home (Burbank). Dale also mentioned
seeing 300 SANDHILL CRANES at Scootney Reservoir on February 28.
