You ask for a "good, sturdy, light and cheap" tripod. I think you will
have to compromise on one or more of these!
I use a Bogen 3021. It is not cheap, but not expensive either, at
about $130. It is also not light. Carbon fiber tripods are light, but
very expensive. The type of head you put on the tripod makes a big
difference. I use a large ball head which costs 3 times as much as the
tripod, but I do photography with a big lens.
