Hearing of all the neat things happening a little further south, i
would like to report from Kelowna, BC that the great blue herons are
in a nesting mood.

This afternoon I was walking along Mission Creek, by the area called the
Benvoulin Woods, when i saw that four of the nests in the heronry were
occupied, with a number of other herons in the branches nearby. They
were so loud even the non-birders were stopping to look.
