The standing roost gull-flocks in the aglands around the Vancouver Landfill
in Delta BC each winter can number over many thousand birds each, 98%
Glaucous-winged Gulls Larus glaucescens, 2% everything else. It just
occurred to me ('doh!') that they're invariably 95%-98% adult birds.

So does anyone know where the First-, Second and Third-year birds get to
each winter?
