I couldn't get in that close to see that detail on it's bill. I know the
bill was smaller than those on the feral domestics.....those geese have
honkin' bills. It's neck was as long as some of the necks on some of the
Canadas.
It's neck was as thick as some of the Canadas. The goose as a whole was
about the same size as the Canada nearest to it. One Canada near the
Ross/Snow? had a very slender neck and the other had a fairly thick neck
about the same length as the Ross/Snow.

I wasn't dressed for birding, as I was on my home from work, dressed in a
nice skirt, office type shoes and a trench coat, so I was lucky I didn't
step in a puddle or mud as I stalked in after the geese.

I'm "honkin' " confused!
