Well, I haven't seen that possible Ferruginous Hawk near Mima Mounds since I
reported it. However, I have seen a simply 'normous Redtailed several times
since then. So, going by that old saw, "when you see hoofprints, think horses,
not zebras" I am going to retract my sighting and say instead that I saw a
very large Redtailed Hawk. She's a big 'un, folks, the largest I have ever
seen. She's circling around now, with a much smaller male. I am, of course,
assuming the genders as well...
