Subject: White Faced Whistling ducks at JBP??

I believe I saw these three ducks at JBP last weekend. I have been
unable to identify them as they are no such ducks pictured in either my
Audubon or National Geographic guides. They had white faces, but behind
the eye they were black. The count was three. They appeared after a
brief hail storm forced the humans and dogs into cover. Only foolish
photographers would stick around to see what might show itself with the
dogs and people gone.

My memory does not serve me well, but I did manage to snap a number of
photographs of them, so perhaps I can more positively identify them when
I get the film back.(Photo conditions where abominable, little light
from the wrong direction, and only a slow zoom lens forcing slower
shutter speeds!)
