After hearing reports of Say's Phoebe in western Washington the last few days, I got to thinking that if a Say's Phoebe was anywhere
around here, it ought to be in the east meadow at Marymoor. So this afternoon, when the sun came out, I headed down to check it
out, and SURE ENOUGH, there was a Say's Phoebe.

To get there, park in the Interpretive Trail parking lot (about the middle of the park). The "east meadow" is my name for the
meadow immediately to the east of that portion of the interpretive trail. When I first got there, the bird was on the top of a
shrub in the middle of the meadow. Later it flew to the blackberries at the north edge of the meadow. It was still there when I
left around 3:30.

This is a new bird for our Marymoor list, which now stands at 141 confirmed species.
