Yeah - this isn't really a birding question, but...

The mouth of a river is the wide spot where the river empties into a lake.
So what do you call the wide spot on a river where a lake empties into the river?

BTW - I got up at 5:45 this morning to try to find Brian Bell's Long-eared Owl at Marymoor Park. No luck, but a Short-eared was
hunting in the east meadow. I also saw my first Savannah Sparrow of the spring.
