Went birding this past week-end in the areas between Pendleton and LeGrand,
Oregon, and west to the 395 Hwy. The most exciting find was at least thirty
Mountain Bluebirds on Mossie Rd. just south of Ukiah. There was also a
scattering of Western Bluebirds. The Rough-legged Hawks have not moved north
yet for we spotted several of them and I saw two more this morning along the
Old Vantage Rd.
