This is Kas Dumroese with the northern Idaho / eastern Washington /
northeastern Oregon bird hotline.

No one called in any sightings, and gleanings from the internet were
few and far between, but SPOTTED TOWHEES, MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRDS, and
VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS have returned to various locales in eastern
Washington and northern Idaho this past week. Also, a thousand or so
SANDHILL CRANES have arrived around Othello, Adams County, Washington.
