Lydia here to squelch an owl rumor......

I just spoke to "the man", Matt Knox at the Green River Natural Resource
Area/Kent Ponds regarding the rumored BURROWING OWLS that someone had
told me about.

Well, "the man" says, no burrowing owls at the GRNRA. (Shucks!)

But he did tell me there is talk of closing the North Tower area for
awhile this spring/summer to give possibly nesting NORTHERN HARRIERS some
privacy. Maybe the man I talked to got the species mixed up.

Time for a walk.
