Our very first hummer seen actually sipping out of our feeder this year was
one I didn't recognize. It was about the size of an Anna's, but had a white
throat with a small black patch under the chin. It had a slight black eye-
stripe and it seemed as thought the bill was curved downward. Any ideas? Is
it a female or immature Anna's? It definitely wasn't a Rufous. There was no
red at all and the hummer seemed mostly a drab green.

Thanks,

Tyler
