Jason and Michael -

Two things to look for in any race of Fox Sparrow not already mentioned
by others:

1) the bill is always bi-colored: dark on upper mandible and
yellowish on lower.
2) they scratch noisily in the leaf litter like chickens (or towhees)
for their food.
