Tweeters,
Maybe this is the bird that was recently reported (by someone whose name I didn't recognize) on the Bird Box as an immature wood stork.

A woman called me yesterday to tell me about a bird she could not identify.
Said it had been there about a week. I went to look at it and it appears to
be a White Stork. I saw the one that was hanging around the Renton area last
fall.

It appears quite tame, I could not see any bands. It is on private property.

It is in the field off the Redmond/Woodinville Road that has the cow and calf
metal sculpture. There are about 5 horses grazing in this pasture. This is
just south of the Hollywood School which is on 145th. Same road as St.
Michelle Winery.

You can park in the North Shore Sports Complex parking lot and walk about a
quarter mile on the Samamish River Trail to the field. The bird seems
undisturbed by the traffic on the road and trail
