Yes, I snuck out . . .

The following were birds of interest on 3/29 in the Vancouver
Lake/Ridgefield NWR area. All were seen between 4 and 400 pm

--a CLIFF SWALLOW in the swallow flocks at Post Office lake.
--30 DUNLIN and 4 GREATER YELLOWLEGS at the small pond just north of Post
Office Lake on Ridgefield NWR.
--a NORTHERN SHRIKE at Post Office Lake
--two CASPIAN TERNS, one at Post Office Lake, one south over the Fazio
Bros sand pit area
--a GREAT EGRET just out of town
--OSPREYS at Vancouver and Post Office Lakes
--still 200 SANDHILL CRANES near Frenchman's Bar County Park and another
50 near Fazio Bros.
--6-8 WESTERN MEADOWLARKS in the cow field south of Frenchman's Bar

And the usual herons on nest, ducks, geese, eagles, a nice dark-phase
Red-tail going to nest.

Couldn't let you all have all the fun!
