Mike and Diane West led 10 other ELWAS (E. Lake WA Audubon Society) birders in
three cars on a field trip to Ellensburg/Vantage area on Mar. 28. We first
went up Hidden Valley road, then hwy 10 to Ellensburg, Umptanum road to
Manastash road to trail access to L.T. Murray WA. We walked about 1/2 mile on
trail to Ponderosa Pine flats. Then I-90 to Vantage and Gingko SP, old Vantage
Hwy to Caribou Road, west on Lyons Road, north on No. 81 Road, west on Brick
Mill Road, north on Look Road, west on Hungry Jct Road, Reecer Creek Road then
Cascade Way back to I-90. Total of 52 species. Everyone didn't see all
species.

Golden Eagle - 1 flying over cliffs at Gingko SP
