Hi Tweets,

Just a note that the CASSIN'S AUKLET Ptychoramphus aleuticus was still in
the area of Canada Place at the N end of Howe St. in downtown Vancouver BC
on Saturday afternoon May 01. It was mostly along the eastern edge of the
cruise-ship berth between Canada Place and the SeaBus Terminal.

Other birds in the vicinity were an Alternate-plumaged COMMON LOON Gavia
immer, 4 remaining BARROW'S GOLDENEYE (2 subadult males, 2 (subadult?)
females), and 5 remaining MEW GULLS Larus canus, race brachyrhynchus, 2 Alt
1 and 3 Alt 2 birds.

And no sign of Granville Clint, the PEREGRINE FALCON Falco peregrinus on the
Pacific Press building at the N end of Granville Street. We can probably
assume he's headed to wherever he goes for his summer frolics, and won't be
back until October.
