Welcome to E WA spring 1999, Deborah. It's been blowing hard here for quite
a while.

I spent the day on the Wahluke slope and saw what looked to be my first
burrowing owl, perched nicely on a vineyard row endpost a few miles east of
Mattawa.

Also a lot of coyote out and about of late...
