It should have read 2.5 miles west of the John's River bridge. It is at N 46
53.52', W 124 02.60' (degrees and decimal minutes), if you have a GPS or a
mapping program which can locate by lat/long. I can't remember the names of
any cross-streets, and it is really hard to miss. There is a ramshackle shed
just before you get to the pullout (that's really all there is). A gate blocks
what was once a path or narrow roadway. There is a tiny brown sign reading
Bottle Beach State Park.

At high tide, you are very close to the birds, and it is a great spot. At low
tide, you can't even see the water it is so far out.

I think there should be a mid-afternoon high tide by Thursday, but do check.
You REALLY have to plan around the tides.
