A couple of weeks ago while birding with friends in
Skagit county we observed a banded Brant. I got the info from
the color band and noted the presence of the silver F&WS band,
although I couldn't read anything on that one.
I looked through recent issues of WOSNews and didn't
see reporting info for any Brant projects. There is the standard
info for the Bird Banding Lab so I guess I'll report my info to
them although I'm unsure if they want anything other than F&WS
band info?? Also, the newsletter says "Avise" leg bands should
be reported - but doesn't say what "Avise" bands are. Anyone
out there in Tweeterdom know?
