A. In case he ran into a few thousand Canada geese
B. To shoot any or all snarling dogs he encountered
C. To make the world safe from micro-brained, latte loving joggers

One day last spring while birding alone I was surrounded by 7 large snarling
dogs. The owner arrived and called them off before the "real" action
started. My revolver only holds six rounds, I was afraid I'd have to club
the last one:-).
