I had a Yellow-headed Blackbird at my feeders yesterday, I usually get 1or 2
for a couple of days in early may. Heard my first Hermit Thrush of the year
yesterday and spotted an empid. which I would guess was a Hammond's
Flycatcher based on location(i always see them there).
The Ruffed grouse are busy drumming and there are White-crowned Sparrows
underfoot everywhere. I found 1 Vesper Sparrow in a large flock of
White-crowned Sparrows I was scanning while waiting to inspect a train.
