Hi All
I hoped today would be a day of new arrivals as one front had passed and
another is in the offing. New arrivals for this year included Blue-winged
Teal, Cinnamon Teal, Killdeer, Greater Yellowlegs, Vaux's Swift, Cassin's
Vireo, Northern Rough-winged Swallows, and warblers (Orange-crowned,
Magnolia, Townsend's, and Wilson's). I can't recall so many arrivals on the
same day.
We also continue to be awash in Townsend's Solitaires. I saw 8 whereas a
usual number might be 1 or 2.

Happy Birding
