hello tweets.

i was talking to the lab manager today about nesting bald eagles,
when she asked me if that bald eagle nest in the arboretum has
any eggs/chicks in it? does anyone know? i am also curious to
if one of the two adult bald eagles that i see flying around the
montlake fill is last year's immature, now with sporty adult
plumage? i wonder this because i also often see a third-year
immature bald eagle hanging out with this adult pair, and so i
don't know if this year's immature is also last year's immature
bird, or if it is another immature bird. anyway, so i wonder
why the adult pair of bald eagles tolerates this immature bird:
is this bird related to one of the adults?

regards,
