Hi Tweets,

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Nighthawks may
have declined in some areas due to renevation of old buildings
that had aspahalt and gravel roofs that the Nighthawks found
suitable for nesting on. Anyone care to speculate on whether
this could be the case in urban Seattle. I bet it would be
easier to
easier to figure out if this type of roofing has fallen out of
favor than it would be to figure out if aerial insects have
declined in Seattle over the last twenty years!
