Several band-tailed pigeons have suddenly appeared high in the hemlocks and
cedars on my property. I've lived here for about 2 1/2 years and have never
seen them around. The Audubon field guide indicates they are fairly common
to the NW, but I've not seen them before in the 2 1/2 years I've lived here.
Are they more common in the Seattle area?
