Hi Tweets,
We've had them for the four years we've been in the house. We have a 10 acre
mixed woodland behind the house which is about .8 of a mile above Normandy
Cove on Puget Sound due west of the Sea-Tac noise machine. The first year
we had four, the number grew to 12 the next year and 19 last year.. I've
counted 11 at one time so far this year. A couple remain year round but the
numbers pick up in late April and early May. Early arrivals are especially
skittish particularly when the Cooper's Hawk swings by the edge of the woods
every few days prior to departing for the season.
