Hello all,

The field season has already begun and we're still looking for interns!
Below is some information regarding available internships at the Point
Reyes Bird Observatory. If anyone knows someone who would like or needs a job in field research, please pass this note on to them:

FIELD RESEARCH POSITIONS AVAILABLE - 5/10/99.
Up to 6 positions open for field work involving avian monitoring and
conservation. Duties include mist-netting, nest monitoring, and point
counts. Housing provided and stipends of 500-1400 per month dependent upon experience. Positions available in northern California and NE Montana from May 20th through August 15th with the Point Reyes Bird Observatory (PRBO). The most important qualifications are motivation and desire to spend long hours in the field. Participants must be able to work independently as well as in groups.
