.... I am interested in putting together an "Interesting" Bird Alert for the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene/Sandpoint area.

Of late, there have been a number of "interesting" sightings in the Coeur d'Alene area that have not been reported to the larger lists (Inland-NW-Birders, Tweeters). Many birders seem to be timid about their finds, uncertain if they are "rare" enough to post to a wide readership.

Many of us in N Idaho and NE Washington would like to be notified of any of these "interesting" birds (i.e., rare, unusual, early arrivals, or just plain interesting for other and various reasons), sightings that may be of limited interest for the larger lists. Certainly the truly rare birds, or those noteworthy for these wider lists, would still be posted to Inland-NW-Birders or Tweeters.
