I finally got a quick look at the NG-3 and gotta agree that it seems a vast
improvement, especially in the presentation of age-'n-stage and
similar-species groups. The Basic-plumaged loon section is a honey. Didn't
have time for a page-by-page look, though.

As for Bigfoot, "The Connecticut Warbler (382) with "the foot that took New
York" " as Fran Wood puts it, and some of the pin-headed in-flight raptors
of the previous two National G's, I've grown kinda sentimentally attached to
the old mutants. '-)
