I saw three WESTERN TANAGERS at Green Lake this morning.
One pair, male+female, were in a tall maple tree near the
middle of the north border of the putting area at the SE
corner of the lake. Good ID on both of them, although the
male is easy. The third was a male just SW of the Bath
House in the trees west of the path. There may have been
a female, but I couldn't be sure. First ones I've seen
this year, and I think they're the first ones I've ever
seen at GL.
