Notes: A SONG SPARROW first captured on 04/18/1999 was recaptured
today. At least two subspecies of HERMIT THRUSH were captured, one
small brown form and two of a larger gray form. A large mixed
group of WESTERN TANAGERS, BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAKS, ORANGE-CROWNED,
BLACK-THROATED-GREY, MACGILLIVRAY'S and YELLOW WARBLERS moved
through the area at about 0730hr. The continued presence of HERMIT
THRUSH, GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW and LINCOLN'S SPARROW is probably
associated with the unseasonably cold spring this year.
