For those of you interested in an Eastside (of Lk. Wash.) excursion, East
Lake Washington Audubon Society has compiled a bird list for Juanita Bay
Park. Kirkland Parks printed them, so could send you one. Or we could mail
you one, too.

Discovery Park offers a bird checklist which is quite comprehensive and
accurate. You can pick one up at the visitor's center. Two summaries of
Montlake Fill birds have been published in Washington Birds some years ago,
one by Kevin Aanerud, the other by Ellen Ratoosh, both based on many years'
observations. The Burke Museum published a nice booklet by Fayette Krause on
the Birds of the UW Campus some years ago that is probably now out of print.
Also, my Birdins Seattle and King County book has lots of general
information about dozens of birding sites in King County. It's only $7.50
and readily available still (published in 1982, we printed too many and are
still trying to get rid of them!).;
