Sunday morning walk along Capitol Lake in Olympia... Pacific-slope
Flycatcher; Western Tanager; Warbling Vireo; Wilson's, Orange-crowned,
Yellow, and Black-throated Gray Warblers; Common Yellowthroat. No
Black-headed Grosbeak. Possible Swainson's Thrush.

Watched an adult Song Sparrow, tailless and with one contorted foot, feeding
two fledged young, also tailless but with fully-functional feet.

Three, possibly four, Belted Kingfishers.
Adult Bald Eagle on its customary perch above the 4th Avenue bridge.
Several hundred runners in the Capitol City Marathon.
