Subject: Northern Elephant Seal in the Sound

Kevin,
We (20 students from Newport High School and myself) had a Northern
Elephant Seal on a whale watch in the San Juans on Saturday. The skipper
on our boat mentioned that he had only seen a few in his 7 years.
Ironically, we were out on his last trip two years ago when he had seen
last seen one. Take care.
