Subject: Enumclaw swifts move west?

Hi,

Last night at about 7:45 p.m. I observed what I estimate to be around
200-250 swifts above my home in East Auburn. They made several circles
above my neighborhood during about a 2 or 3 minute span. Then as quickly as
they appeared they vanished heading west in the direction of Auburn. Could
these birds be leaving their Enumclaw roost? Or maybe they are a different
flock. Or maybe they have several roost sites that they frequent on
different nights? At any rate this was a spectacular event that I have
never seen here before. Makes me think of watching Chimney Swifts in the
east. Hope others will get a chance as well to see this.
