I can see a new age of gull watching on the horizon: the
Herring/Glaucous-winged/Western gulls all lumped into "Large Gray-backed
Gull". You'll see a lot fewer birders with nervous twitches or other
pychoses. My trips to the coast (Western Washington) will be a lot less
traumatic. Good idea, Don!
