I have developed an index for the new NGS bird book that will fit inside the
front cover. I had developed one for the American Birding Conservancy "All
The Birds of North America" bird book. I liked that book that came out last
year, but was disappointed that it did not have a quick index inside the
front cover. They have an index oriented to bird shape types inside the front
and back covers. However, I did not find it very fast to find bird species.
But, because the size of the book is smaller I had to use a small font, size
9, to get the index to fit the page. I just took that index and changed the
page numbers to agree with the NGS book. I could also increase the font size
to 10.

I have both of these indexes in Excel files which I am willing to send either
or both to anyone. Just email me separately.
