Hello Tweets,

I birded the Kent Ponds today briefly from 5:15pm-6:15pm with a few notable
highlights, and very low numbers of shorebirds compared to my last visit,
but still a variety.

1 SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER
2 WESTERN SANDPIPERS
38 LEAST SANDPIPERS
1 DUNLIN
10 LONG-BILLED DOWITCHERS
4 SPOTTED SANDPIPERS
3 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS
5 RUDDY DUCKS
1 male WOOD DUCK
4 HOODED MERGANSERS
1 pair of LESSER SCAUPS
1 pair of RING-NECKED DUCKS
3 male BLUE-WINGED TEAL
5 CINNAMON TEAL
1 male AM.KESTREL
1 PURPLE MARTIN(fly over)
28 AM.PIPITS

The SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER, presumably the same individual Dave Beaudette
observed on the 14th, was with a flock of 22 Least Sandpipers, 2 Western
Sandpipers, and the single Dunlin at the NW corner of the "west" pond,
which is, as well as ALL of the other ponds very low.

Good Birding,

Patrick Sullivan
