Let's clear up several problems at once! Lets train all the stray
and possibly many outdoor cats to hunt only starlings and house
sparrows. Seems like that might be able to be done. This will
harness the great killing power of the cats, who kill billions
of birds a year, to getting rid of the pests who crowd out the
ones who escaped the cats. There could even be an annual
solicitation for the Audubon cat-training fund.
