If the fish involved were actually carp, then IMHO(mustn't forget to
include the D.B. repellant - I'm told it's supposed to work much like a
string of garlic wards off vampires) it is fairly unlikely that they were
attempting to catch the bird. In my experience they prefer smaller,
slower prey, like algae. Carp are toothless.
