Tweets, I just got back from 2 hours at the Fill this morning. The most
unusual birds I saw were a DUNLIN in breeding plumage (feeding on the edge
of Shoveler Pond), a MOURNING DOVE (feeding on the edge of the new pond),
and a HOODED MERGANSER (asleep on the main pond). This is only the second
time I've seen a mourning dove at the Fill in 12 years of birding. - Connie
