Nice day at Marymoor this morning.

Lots of herons, both Great Blue and Green. May have heard two Bittern as well.

At the rowing club, in the southwest pond, there was a female Wood Duck with
about 5 small ducklings.

An Osprey made several attempts to knock a Great Blue Heron off of one of the
posts out in the lake. The heron jabbed back with its beak. The Osprey then
went after the GBH on the next post, successfully knocking it off.

A good day for doves, with Rock Doves, a Band-tailed Pigeon, and two MOURNING
DOVE.

A Pileated Woodpecker landed in a short tree right next to the trail at the
weir, giving us fantastic views from about 10 feet away!

We found two Black-capped Chickadee nests, and saw a Bushtit go in and out of
the nest we had found previously.

Many Wilson's Warbler were singing - we saw one. Also had a brief but
definitive look at a MacGillivray's Warbler near the first footbridge (on the
slough trail)

Several Rufous Hummingbird, Willow Flycatcher, Swainson's Thrush, Cedar
Waxwing, Black-headed Grosbeak, and a Warbling Vireo.

All told, 46 species.
